Alarms, Credit Card Fraud And More In Today’s Crime Report

Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: 911 hang up, three alarms, two ambulance assist, two civil matter, three disturbing the peace, two domestic disturbance, false pretense, fire department assist, malicious mischief, two petit larceny, property damage, three suspicious activity, two suspicious person, utility call out two welfare concerns.

Oxford police investigated 11 accidents, 22 tickets and made the following arrest:
DUI 1st, speeding
petit larceny
possession of marijuana, ran stop sign
2 possession of paraphernalia
public drunk, fake ID
2 shoplifting
shoplifting, fake ID
warrant served for FTA

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two alarms, commercial burglary, disturbance, two harassment, juvenile complaint, three service calls, three suspicious activity/persons, four welfare concerns, transport, three follow-ups, two civil matters, traffic complaint, forgery.

Lafayette Sheriff’s department made no arrests

Oxford Fire Department:
No reports from yesterday

University Police: Five vehicle stops, suspicious person, accident hit n run, assist with traffic, information call, possession of drug paraphernalia.
