Domestic Violence, Grand Larceny And More In Today’s Crime Report

Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: improper parking, four suspicious activities, petit larceny, 911 hang-up, four alarms, suspicious vehicle, disturbing the peace, two reported DUI, animal complaint, simple assault.

Oxford police investigated 11 wrecks, issued 15 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Domestic Violence – Simple Assault
False Pretense
Disorderly Conduct – Failure to Comply
Speeding and No Proof of Liability Insurance
2 Careless Driving and DUI
Careless Driving, Possession of a Fake ID and DUI
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Disorderly Conduct – Failure to Comply

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: accident, simple assault, five alarms, two animal complaints, two disturbances, domestic violence, grand larceny, harassment, three service calls, suspicious activity, two welfare concerns, civil matter, unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Oxford Fire Department: 
Oxford Fire Department reports for dates May 2 – 7 will be released Monday, May 8.

University Police: three vehicle stops, two ambulance assist, suspicious person, accident hit and run.
