Ole Miss Alumni Association offers private premium tailgating space for the 2013 football season at the Stark Family Garden, behind The Inn at Ole Miss.

The hustle and bustle of the Grove is a wonderfully draining atmosphere—a red plastic cup filled to the brim of excitement, and Ole Miss fandom. Yet, wouldn’t it be nice to kick back and relax away from all the hype and commotion for a change?

Thanks to the Ole Miss Alumni Association, our dedicated Ole Miss Rebel football fans can enjoy all the antics of the Grove without having to worry about all the trouble. For a $1,500 tax-deductible gift to the university, you can be sitting high, tailgating in style for every 2013 home football game. That’s a mere $215 per game for all your tailgating needs, including setup, takedown and storage of one 10’x10’ tent, eight folding chairs and one 8’ table for each home game. As long as you bring your own food and beverages, OMAA will hang a banner with your own last name on the canopy of your reserved tent.

Just a stone throws distance away from the Grove, quietly tucked between magnolia trees is the tranquil Stark Family Garden. Located in the backyard of The Inn at Ole Miss, this will be your new home base for every home game. From here you may observe the Grove from a distance, yet be close enough to make all your rounds to your favorite Hometown tents in the Grove.

Having the OMAA at your assistance will eliminate all the frustrations associated with “Groving”. Forget the unbearable lines at the Hotty Toddy Potty. Whenever you have to go, the restrooms inside The Inn are close by and open to participants and their guests. There are even a few handicap accessible spots on the spongy grass for our most dedicated Rebels.  Not to mention the Cobra Security Guards, paid to keep an eye out and protect your precious belongings, so you can enjoy the game without worrying about a thing.

The reserved tailgating spaces are limited and available on a first come first serve basis. To reserve your space for the 2013 season, contact Anna Smith at 662-915-1859 or annasmith@olemiss.edu. Don’t forget to mention where you heard it first, at HottyToddy.com —- William Fowler, junior Integrated Marketing Communications Major, Meek School of Journalism and New Media
