Video >> Monday, August 18 Rebel Practice Report
Ten days from the Ole Miss Rebels stepping onto the field inside the Georgia Dome to face the Boise State Broncos opening the 2014 season, the team was back inside the Manning Center today because of rain.
Coach Hugh Freeze said he was a little disappointed in the energy the Rebels had throughout practice, but there also were some good things to take away from the day.
During practice, Coach Freeze and the staff prepared for the Broncos by adding the game plan into practice. For the Rebels, trying to prepare for Boise State can be a challenge because they have a new coach and don’t know what kind of plays or styles they will run this season.
The center position will be played by two people as Ole Miss starts the season with Ben Still and Robert Conyers, who both have done well at that spot throughout spring and fall camp.
Here’s a clip of Coach Freeze and senior QB Bo Wallace talking to the media after practice.
