Valentine’s Day Market Spreads the Love in Oxford
It’s been a busy week and some of y’all know your love might not appreciate a last-minute spree at the card aisle. The Powerhouse has a full weekend planned for anyone wanting to get a thoughtful, handmade gift instead.
The Oxford Maker’s Market will host a two-day event starting Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Valentine’s Day itself from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Even the worst procrastinator can find a handmade gift among 20 local artists.
There will be a band, Dutch Loves Bijou that’ll play throwback music that your grandparents fell in love to. Y’all can enjoy this band when it starts at noon at the Maker’s Market at the Powerhouse.
Looking for more of a date night instead? Then make sure to stop by the free champagne reception from 5-6 Friday night.
For more information on the whole event, visit OxfordArts.com or for more information on how to become involved with the Maker’s find them on Facebook.
