TJ Ray: A Salute to Holly Spring and the Mississippi Industrial College
Not everything was damaged or destroyed in the tornado that ripped through our friendly and neighborly county to the north earlier this month; although that fact won’t be easy to discern from these shots courtesy of HottyToddy.com’s friendly photo contributor TJ Ray.
The Holly Springs establishment, Mississippi Industrial College, has been abandoned and decrepit for as long as I can remember, but stands as sentinel over North Holly Springs and Rust College, while giving me (and others I’ve spoken to) the outright creeps.
From the vantage point of my truck window, I’ve always mused that the facility would be a geocache paradise; either that or a fine place for a haunted house during the Halloween season. Either way, chills coarse when I see or pass the facility.
Dr. Ray – apparently on a higher plane of bravery than I – recently captured the nuances of the facility through the lens of his Nikon camera and, as always, he’s more than happy to share them with the world via HottyToddy.com.
As always, we thank Dr. Ray for supplying these great shots to us at HottyToddy.com And remember, we encourage our readers to share your photos with us and the rest of the world at HottyToddyPhotos@gmail.com.
