Former Ole Miss quarterback Maikhail Miller was killed in a car accident on Highway 78 near Holly Springs, Miss., on Saturday, according to WMC Action News 5.
“Reminded how short life can be tonight,” Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze tweeted. “So sorry to hear of Maikhail Miller’s death. Prayers to his family. What are we doing with our dash?”
Miller, who was a part of Freeze’s first recruiting class in 2012, played for the Rebels in 2012 and transferred to Murray State in July 2013. He played in two games during his time at Ole Miss as a backup quarterback.
