Sardis Lake Eagle Survey Post Script
Don’t tell him… but these aren’t eagles.
Our versatile photo contributor, TJ Ray, participated in last weekend’s bald eagle survey (February 6) at Sardis Lake but we’re pretty sure that he didn’t get the memo with the operative words “bald eagle” in the subject line.
Regardless and in his defense, we know that if it moves, it deserves to be shot (and most definitely NOT with a gun).
“Today on the ride around Sardis for the annual eagle count, we came across this red-tailed posing nicely for me,” Ray said. “We did see one bald eagle but he was flying so far away that all I got was a blur.”
Blurry or not (and these aren’t), we salute your enthusiasm, sir, and we encourage all HottyToddy.com readers and followers to submit their photos for publication consideration to hottytoddyphotos@gmail.com
