Romney’s Chief Advisor Speaks at Overby Tonight

Stuart Stevens, the Mississippi native and chief strategist of MItt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign, will return home to speak tonight at the Overby Center of Southern Journalism and Politics.  Stevens’  6 p.m. “No Retreat, No Surrender” lecture will focus on the dynamics, pitfalls and strategy of the presidential contest.

As the author of five books,  Stevens will address the state of American politics today, and the future of the Republican Party.

Stevens got his start in Mississippi politics in the 1970s, managing the 2000 and 2004 George W. Bush campaigns as well as the 2012 Mitt Romney campaign.
