Rebels Wrap up Fall Season at Commodore Scramble

On the final day of the Commodore Scramble, the Ole Miss Men’s Tennis team won three more matches to finish the weekend with 15 total wins in singles and doubles at the Currey Tennis Center. The weekend wraps up the fall for the Rebels.
Ole Miss dropped both doubles matches, but rebounded to post three singles wins. Sophomore Ricardo Jorge celebrated his birthday by beating Suresh Eswaran of Vanderbilt 6-4, 6-1. Vinod Gowda downed Shakeel Manji of Memphis 6-2, 6-1 and William Kallberg defeated Robin Riethmueller 6-3, 6-4.
The Rebels will kick off the spring season Jan. 8-10 at the Florida Gulf Coast Invitational. Their first dual match is Jan. 16 at UCF.
