Members of Oxford Troop 146 had a two day camp-out at Sardis Aug. 23-25, enjoying the beach, swimming, canoeing and even kitchen duty!
Sardis Lake, where the campout was located, is a large flood control lake with fishing, beaches and pavilions for group outings.
Troop 146 is sponsored by North Oxford Baptist Church in Oxford, Miss. and frequents the Toby Tubby Camp of the Yocona Area Council.
Camp Toby Tubby is the newest Yocona Area Council Boy Scout Camp.
Located 12 miles outside of Oxford, the camp offers tent pads, water, toilets, fire pits, tables and regular garbage pick-up.
