Oxford Indoor Yard Sale Set for January 16 at the Conference Center

The seventh Indoor Yard Sale will be held this Saturday at the Oxford Conference Center located at 102 Ed Perry Boulevard

On Saturday, January 16, the Oxford Conference Center unveils the seventh edition of its popular Indoor Yard Sale. The event, scheduled to take place between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., promises attendees a plethora of goods available in over 40 booths.

Admission to the event is $2 per person and kids 12 and under will be admitted free of charge.

Validating the popularity of the indoor sale, event director Micah Quinn commented this morning; “We are completely full. We have over 40 vendors that are going to be here selling merchandise; so, we are sold out as far as vendors go.”

“No early birds,” Quinn said. “Out of fairness to the vendors trying to complete their setup and all of the other attendees, we won’t be letting people in early. Sometimes they start showing up at 6 and we hate for them to have to stand in line that long in the cold, so it’s important to stress that we won’t open the doors until 9.”

“This event has really taken off over the last seven years and is now one of our most popular,” Quinn added. “Vendors are happy with the big crowds and shoppers benefit from the great deals.”

The Oxford Conference Center is located at 102 Ed Perry Boulevard, immediately across from the Malco Oxford Commons Cinema & Grill located on Sisk Avenue.

“It’s too cold for outdoor activities so this is a perfect day to expand your wardrobe or get some items for the house. We look forward to seeing everyone this Saturday,” Quinn said.
