Fantazia Malcou – Malicious Mischief
On Wednesday, October 29, 2014, Oxford investigators arrested Fantazia Malcou, 23 of Tupelo, MS. This was a result of Tupelo police department picking the subject up on a warrant that Oxford police had on her. The victim signed felony malicious mischief charges on her after Malcou allegedly keyed a car. Bond was set at $1,500.
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: three alarms, three welfare concerns, three suspicious activities, two improper parking, two disturbances, a recovered property, a littering, a careless driving, an animal assist, a petit larceny, an ambulance assist, a malicious mischief and a lost property.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 46 traffic citations, and made eight arrests on the following charges: (4) public intoxications, (3) possessions of drug paraphernalia, and a careless driving with a DUI.
Oxford police discovered no code enforcement violations.

Oxford Fire Dept. responded to the following calls: an activated smoke detector due to cooking at 200 Washington Ave. #18 and a smell of smoke at Highway 6 and 7 area due to a controlled burning on S. Lamar construction site.
