Oxford police responded to the following incidents: three suspicious activities, three disturbances, two alarms, two credit card fraud, a false pretense, a counterfeit currency, a petit larceny, an improper parking, a lost property, a recovered property, and an identity theft.
Oxford police investigated six wrecks, issued 47 traffic citations, and made eight arrests on the following charges: (3) possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding with DUI, careless driver in possession of fake ID and a DUI, a driver without headlights but with a DUI, a driver with a suspended drivers’ license, a trespassing with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Oxford police discovered no code enforcement violations.
University police responded to the following incidents: a motor vehicle accident with injury at Deaton Hall, a service call for a motorist assist at Union, a motor vehicle accident with property damage at Ole Miss Band Hall, and an assist with traffic on Chucky Mullins Drive.
Oxford fire dept. responded to no calls yesterday.
