Oxford Crime Report: Monday, January 26
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: six suspicious activities, three alarms, three welfare concerns, three harassment incidents, two ambulance assists, two disturbances, a careless driving and a petit larceny.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 28 traffic citations, and made six arrests on the following charges: (3) shoplifting; a public intoxication; a careless driving with a DUI; a minor in possession of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia.
University police responded to the following incidents: a disturbance at Brown Hall, a service call for an ambulance at Stewart Hall, and a warrant served on Sorority Row.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls: a student pulled a fire alarm during a drill at Bramlett Elementary, and a cancelled call at 2503 Aspen Drive.
