Oxford Crime Report: Monday, February 23
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: five suspicious activities, three welfare concerns, two alarms, two ambulance assists, two animal complaints, two shopliftings, a code violation, a noise complaint, a trespassing, a disturbance, a civil matter, a embezzlement, a recovered property, a malicious mischief and some harassing phone calls.
Oxford police investigated five wrecks, issued 22 traffic citations and made one arrest for the following charges: a speeding with no driver’s license nor car insurance but with possession of schedule 3 and 4 narcotics and also a DUI.
University police responded to the following incidents:a vandalism at Stewart Hall, a traffic detail on Hathorn Road and a traffic detail on Chucky Mullins Drive. Also the UPD also has a report of a grand larceny and a burglary at Sigma Phi Epsilon house that took place Sunday evening.
Oxford Fire Department received no emergency calls yesterday.
