Ole Miss Takes Down Cincinnati to Win Emerald Coast Classic

Over the weekend, the Ole Miss men’s basketball team won the Emerald Coast Classic by defeating Cincinnati 66-54.
The Rebels were led by junior guard Stefan Moody’s career-high 26 points in the victory. Ole Miss went into the halftime break with a 30-25 point led over the Bear Cats.
Coach Andy Kennedy’s squad got to the championship game by knocking off Creighton 75-68. In the win, senior Jarvis Summers recorded 23 points in the win. He also went 9-of-10 from the free-throw line and as a team they went 19 of 21 overall from the line.
With the win, Ole Miss improves to 5-1 on the season and welcomes the TCU Horned Frogs on Thursday night to the Tad Smith Coliseum with tip off slated for 8 p.m.
