Ole Miss Falls To No. 18 Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Ole Miss trailed by just one point at the half, but the Rebels fell to No. 18 Kentucky 80-64 on Tuesday night. Marshall Henderson led the team with 16 points.
The Wildcats’ Willie Cauley-Stein notched 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Kentucky shot 60 percent in the second half.
The Wildcats’ 7-foot sophomore went 7 of 8 from the field to score more points than his previous six games combined (14) while reaching double digits in rebounds for the first time in nine games.
Cauley-Stein had four blocks and altered other attempts to help limit the Rebels (15-7, 6-3 SEC) to 36 percent shooting in the second half and 39 percent overall
Jarvis Summers and LaDarius White added 11 points apiece, while Anthony Perez scored nine. Freshman Sebastian Saiz added seven points for the Rebels.
Kentucky (17-5, 7-2 SEC) made 15 of 25 from the field in the second half to turn a 35-34 halftime lead into their second consecutive victory.
Aaron Harrison added 16 points while Julius Randle scored 11 of his 12 points after halftime as the Wildcats finished shooting 51 percent from the field.
