New coaches and big cities headline the 2018 BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip, Ole Miss’ seventh annual coaches and leadership speaking tour. The 13-stop caravan begins in Charlotte on Sunday, April 22 and is highlighted by trips to Pensacola, New Orleans, Birmingham and New York City.

For the first time in its history, the BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip will feature a new lineup of speakers, including first-year football coach Matt Luke and new head coaches for both the men’s and women’s basketball programs. They will be joined by Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics Ross Bjork and Chancellor Jeffrey Vitter.

Tickets are on sale now at RebelRoadTrip.com.

This year’s caravan reaches seven states and three new destinations in Charlotte, Pensacola and NYC. Other stops from April 22-27 include Gulfport, Vicksburg, Indianola, Tupelo, Corinth and Oxford. The trip to the Big Apple is set for June 8, while meetings for Memphis and Jackson (MS) will be held July 18 and 19, respectively.

“As it has in the past, the BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip is going to provide an excellent platform to introduce our new coaches and personally thank Rebel Nation for its unwavering support,” said Kyle Campbell, Ole Miss associate athletics director for communications. “We look forward to once again partnering with the Alumni Association and connecting with our fans, not only locally, but in some of our nation’s largest markets.”

In addition to the speakers, the meetings include autograph opportunities, photo booths, official merchandise, football posters, an exciting video look at the university and information tables for the Athletics Foundation and the Alumni Association.

In its first six years, the BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip has visited 37 markets and nearly 22,000 fans. The tour has touched seven states and such major metropolitan cities as Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Little Rock and Nashville, among others.
