From October 14th – October 25th north Mississippi Regions Bank branches will be selling paper Bike MS pin-ups to help support the mission efforts of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society, Alabama-Mississippi Chapter. This campaign complements the annual Bike MS: Bike to the Battlefield, a 2-day 150-mile bicycling event between Clinton and Vicksburg, occurring the weekend of October 12-13.

Last week, the Chapter was able to partner with local Regions Bank branch associates to perform “What a Difference a Day Makes: MS Service Day” in the homes of five north Mississippi families affected by multiple sclerosis. Volunteers helped with basic home repairs, yard clean up, painting etc. Funds raised through the October 14th – October 25th wheel sale campaign will allow the Chapter to continue to provide important programs, such as like last week’s day of service, for others affected by MS.

“All of us at Regions Bank are excited to put into action our values of giving back to our community through a fundraising campaign. Funds raised from the sale of the Bike MS pin-ups in our local branches will help those we have personal relationships with and who battle this disease. We also hope to raise MS awareness,” states Regions Executive Dave Smith. Smith also holds a position on the Alabama-Mississippi MS Chapter Board of Trustees.

The requested donation is $1. The pin-ups will have the purchaser’s name written on the front and be displayed at the Regions bank where it was purchased. Prizes will be awarded to each branch raising more than $500, $1000 and $2300. The top branch and top individual will also be awarded prizes.
