Local music series ventures to new locations

Oxford’s intimate pocket concert series Music in the Hall is most often held and filmed in space on the Oxford Square, but has also done episodes at Bottletree Bakery and in personal homes. This week, MITH will venture outside the city limits with two shows—one in space above B.T.C. Grocery in Water Valley on Thursday, June 6, and another at Woodson Ridge Farms on Friday, June 7. Admission for each show is $15. “You can get both shows and a MITH sampler DVD for $25 if you purchase tickets in advance,” says Music in the Hall founder Daniel Morrow. “The free DVD (60 minute run time) is also available for free to all Sustaining Backers and anyone who purchases a single ticket in advance.

Show times are 7:30 both nights. Doors open at 7.
