Mississippi Crime Stoppers Need Your Help

Mississippi Crime Stoppers need your help in bringing a killer to justice. The MS Department of Public Safety sent out the following request this morning:

On Dec 21st 2013, The MS Highway Patrol responded to a report of an accident on U.S. Hwy 49 just South of Pocahontas. The accident appeared to be a Hit & Run involving a pedestrian. The body of a white female identified as Maury Michelle Flint was discovered lying in the median near the Cock of The Walk Restaurant. At the time of the accident the vehicle involved did not stay on scene and there were no apparent witnesses. The victim, Maury Michelle Flint was last known to have been at a residence nearby in Pocahontas shortly before midnight on Friday Dec 20th. The accident is believed to have occurred sometime in the early morning hours of Saturday Dec 21st, before being discovered and reported at approximately 7am on the morning of Saturday Dec 21st. The family of the victim, as well as the MS Highway Patrol, and CMCS is asking for the public’s help in an attempt to identify the vehicle and driver involved in this incident.

A reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2500.00 could be paid for information leading to an arrest(s).
A separate reward of $24,000.00 is being offered by the family of the victim for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
