LMR Gears Up for Round Two of Its Interactive Broadcasts at the Powerhouse
The second LMR broadcast, an interactive musical effort hosted by YAC at the Powerhouse is cranking up for round two on Thursday, February 4.
Living Music Resource (LMR) is featuring a new program that places innovative artists, musicians and vocalists in the local and worldwide spotlight (check out the video below for a quick preview).
According to the YAC website, LMR™ produces a highly successful groundbreaking interactive interview series, called the “Beat” which features prominent artists and pedagogues that is streamed live via LMR’s website.
Professional singer and University of Mississippi music professor Nancy Maria Balach is hosting the new web series. The innovative talk show format is presented in front of a live studio audience and includes an international real-time viewing audience via the web.
This edition of the Beat will focus on Auditioning Advice with Paul Houghtaling (Druid City Opera Theatre) and Chad Payton (Seagle Music Colony). They will address auditions at all levels (professional world, graduate school, undergraduate school and community theatre).
According to LMR: Whether you are getting ready for a college audition, your town’s next play or the Metropolitan Opera, there will be something for you! Can’t come in person or watch on the LMR website (LMR.com). Simply click on the home slider to watch in real time and there is no password to view the event.
The Living Music Resource™ is housed at the University of Mississippi and maintained by Balach along with a team of University of Mississippi music majors.
This live broadcast will be held from 7:30-8:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
