Christmas is less than 15 days away, and more people are starting to get into the holiday mood, hanging lights and decorations everywhere while dancing to the music that one hears every December.
A great way to enjoy some of the yuletide spirt is going to see a Christmas show on stage, and this Sunday, the Ford Center is housing Jingle Bell Rock preformed by a company out of California called Plan-B entertainment.
The show will be a fast-paced, fun-filled celebration for the holiday season. As the group sings classics as Sleigh Ride, Here Comes Santa Claus and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, the show features a live band, talented singers, lot’s of holiday fun and of course, everyone’s favorite, Santa Claus! This talented cast guides us through the holiday season with a rousing energy that keeps the house a-rockin’! Be prepared to have the merriest of Christmases with this family holiday event and its contemporary spin on a classic yuletide review.

Jingle Bell Rock is produced and directed by Andy Ferrara, executive producer of Plan-B Entertainment. He has worked with companies like MGM Live on Stage to co-produce the new musical version of Mermaids, based on the movie starring Cher. Plan-B Entertainment also collaborated with author Dean Pitchford on a revamped stage production of his musical, Footloose, featuring a restructured and enhanced version of the popular story.
Plan-B Entertainment was also excited to bring the west coast regional premiere of two immensely popular shows: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, which won seven Inland Empire Awards, including one for Andy as director, and the west coast regional premiere of Rent. Andy’s Plan-B Entertainment is also a prolific producer of original staged entertainment, which he tours across the nation. In fact, his original raucous holiday musical, Jingle Bell Rock, is now in its fourth year of touring the United States to rave reviews.
Curtain opens at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ford Center. For tickets, visit the box office website. And before the show, don’t forget to swing by the Gingerbread Village for an extra dose of Christmas spirit!
