The Ford Center had a great sound of holiday cheer through the auditorium Sunday night as the cast of Jingle Bell Rock took the stage Sunday night to kick off the Christmas season with song, dance and entertainment for all ages.
The cast preformed more than 30 great Christmas hits, from classic White Christmas to festive Jingle Bell Rock and everything in between. The show was fast-paced, moving from one song to the next in a two-hour show block with something for the whole family.
The audience remained engaged and was involved in the show throughout the night. The performers did skits from It’s A Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol. The cast even got the crowd involved and broke the fourth wall, traipsing through the audience and asking the patrons to help tell the story.
Jolly ol’ Saint Nick made an appearance to sing Christmas carols with everyone, and a few lucky folks were plucked from the audience and selected to sing their personal favorites with Santa.
With Christmas just around the corner, the spirit that was shown in the show sure makes one ready for a merriest Christmas.
