Jill Freeze / Matt Luke to Speak at Wesley Foundation
Freeze and Luke to share faith at Wesley Foundation Worship Thursday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m.
The Ole Miss Wesley Foundation student campus ministry is kicking its year off in the Paris-Yates Chapel with the theme of “Faith and Football”. Jill Freeze understands the importance of coaching, especially when it comes to co-leading a family in her Christian faith with her husband. Also speaking Thursday night is Ole Miss’s offensive line coach & co-offensive coordinator Matt Luke. He will share about his life and how God has impacted him, his family, & the team. Ole Miss students will worship with the Wesley Foundation’s Student Worship Team, be challenged by our guest speakers, followed by a snack meal at the Wesley Building following the worship service. Campus minister Eddie Willis states, “This night will kick off what we do each week in the chapel: music, Biblical teaching, and fellowship. We’ve grown so much that we have to meet on campus instead of our Wesley building”. He also stated, “Having Coach Freeze’s wife and Coach Luke speak for us will give students a better understanding of just how important Christian leadership is to our team, coaching staff, and families”.
Wesley Associate Intern Rocky Shack states, “Thursday nights means being the body of Christ, unpacking the scriptures at least once a week. The fellowship afterwords at our building give the chance for spontaneity.”
