Jackson Avenue near Square to Close Monday, Tuesday

Ole Miss students have gone home for Thanksgiving break, but traffic around the Square could still be hectic the next two days.
Ward 1 alderman Jay Hughes said Jackson Avenue between the Square and 10th Street, as well as the section of 10th between Jackson and Van Buren, will be closed to add water and sewer connections near the Corner Bar.
“We tried to do this on a Saturday game day, but it just didn’t work out,” Hughes joked.
