For the second consecutive week, the No. 15 Ole Miss football team (1-0) will be playing in an NFL stadium. On Saturday, the Rebels will face Vanderbilt (0-1) at 3:30 p.m. CT at LP Field in Nashville, Tennessee, home of the NFL’s Tennessee Titans.
By playing at an NFL stadium, NFL bag policies will be in effect. Fans are strongly encouraged to not bring any type of bags, but what is permissible to bring is outlined below.
Fans will be able to carry the following style and size bag, package or container at stadium plaza areas, stadium gates or when approaching queue lines of fans awaiting entry into the stadium:
• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.”
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
• Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options.
• An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, seat cushions, computer bags and camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size.
All bags are subject to inspection before entry.
In order to expedite the process of entering LP Field, fans are asked to leave all unnecessary items in their vehicle or at home and to have any items open for search before you approach a gate.
Pockets should be emptied before proceeding through security, and all impermissible items must be returned to your vehicle or discarded.
Single game tickets are available through Vanderbilt’s ticket site, or by calling 1-877-44-VANDY. Most of the seats the Ole Miss ticket office sold were in sections 101-108 and 201-207.
“SEC Nation” the SEC Network’s traveling pregame show, will televise its third show of the year Saturday outside LP Field prior to the Rebels’ game against the Commodores. The show will be live from 9-11 a.m. CT. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
The SEC Nation set and bus will be located in Parking Lot T on the east side of LP Field. Fans are invited to be a part of the show and encouraged to arrive or set up by 8 a.m. to be featured in the pageantry of the SEC tailgating experience.
