The Mount Zion Memorial Fund is holding a benefit concert this Friday, May 16, 9 p.m. until close, at the Blind Pig Pub & Deli, announced DeWayne Moore, the fund’s executive director. The event aims to raise funds for for the headstone dedication ceremony for local musician T-Model Ford.
James Lewis Carter Ford, better known as T-Model, recorded for the Fat Possum label based in Oxford, then switched to Alive Naturalsound Records. He passed away in 2013.
