Former Rebel Perez Competes Against Team USA in Olympics

This evening at 6:00 p.m., former Ole Miss Rebel basketball player Anthony Perez will take to the court with the Venezuelan team against the USA basketball team.

Perez played for three minutes in the 86-62 loss against the Serbian National team. He scored three points in the game.For the past few seasons, Perez played forward for the Rebels. He is also playing the same position for Venezuela in the Olympics.

Team USA may be a formidable opponent. Last time Team USA competed in basketball, they defeated China by the score of 119-62 on Saturday.

Perez and the Venezuelan team will also play Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m.
