Published

on

food-truck-posterThe second annual Food Truck Fight will kick off this Sunday, August 6, at 6 p.m. at the Old Armory Pavilion with a group of food truck vendors ready to battle it out to be named the 2017 Food Truck Fight Champion.
Food trucks will be on site from Fergndan’s Wood Fired Pizza, Mugg Cakes, YoknapaTaco, Sweetwater Blue’z Creole and Cajun, Small Time Hot Dogs, and Oxsicles. All the trucks will be on site and ready to cook up food while also encouraging guests to snack for a good cause. The food trucks will be donating a percentage of their sales to support the work of local community groups, and guests will have the opportunity to donate to the local community group of their choice.
The community groups represented at the Food Truck Fight will include the Lafayette Oxford Foundation for Tomorrow (LOFT), Yoknapatawpha Arts Council (YAC), Rotary Club of Oxford, MS, and Crimestoppers. The food truck and community group that raises the most donations by the end of the event will be declared the 2017 Food Truck Fight Champion.
Oxford locals and visitors are encouraged to attend this family friendly event that will feature great food, live music by El Bebop Kid, and games that will all help to raise funds for the represented community organizations.
The Food Truck Fight will be the closing event of the four-day long 2017 Art-er Limits Fringe Fest. To purchase tickets or learn more about the Art-er Limits Fringe Fest events, visit here
