ESPN's College GameDay Moves from Grove to Junction
This past Saturday ESPN’s College GameDay pre-game show was live form the Grove at Ole Miss as the Rebels hosted Alabama in a undefeated matchup of two top 11 teams.
The Grove was filled with thousands of people showing the great atmosphere of game day at Ole Miss. Tents covered the shady ten acre area in the heart of campus.
Now that Ole Miss and Mississippi State defeated college royalty in Alabama and Texas A&M, the two teams remain undefeated as they move on to the next week.
The College GameDay crew will move down to Starkville, Mississippi this week to broadcast next week’s three hour pre-game show from the Mississippi State campus at the Junction for the first time ever in the show’s history.
The Bulldogs are welcoming in last year’s western division champs in the Auburn Tigers as both teams are 5-0 on the year and will showcase another top ten matchup in the state of Mississippi.
Ole Miss heads to College Station to meet the team the Bulldogs just defeated. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. CST Saturday. The following week, Ole Miss heads home for homecoming against Tennessee, when SEC Network will make its first appearance in the Grove.
