Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: Two motorist assists, four welfare concerns, disturbances, careless driver, reported gun shots —Old Taylor Road, —no injuries, nothing found, two alarms, trespassing, five suspicious activities.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 11 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Running a Stop Sign & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Six accidents, three disturbances, six service calls, two suspicious activities, welfare concern, transport, three civil matters, two follow up.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrests
DUI 1st, refusal
Oxford Fire Department: 
No calls made to the fire department on Wednesday

University Police: No reports from University
