The  US v. Paul Kevin Curtis detention hearing that was scheduled to resume at  9 a.m. on Tuesday in Oxford has been delayed and will be continued at a later date, HottyToddy.com has learned.

Neither Federal Magistrate S. Allan Alexander nor federal prosecutors offered any explanation for the halt  in the proceedings that had originally been scheduled to continue on Monday at 3 p.m..

Christi McCoy, defense counsel for the Corinth, Mississippi, man accused in a federal complaint with sending threatening, ricin-laced letters to President Barack Obama and U.S. Senator Roger Wicker on April 8, told reporters that she will hold a press conference at 5:00 p.m. today outside the U.S. Federal Building.
