Kelly said LSU, Indiana and Virginia Tech were also among his finalists. Kelly could fill the void left by another East Mississippi product Bo Wallace along with Ryan Buchanan and Devante Kincade. The Sun Herald reports that Kelly will enroll at Ole Miss in time to participate in spring practice.
Last season at EMCC, Kelly threw for 3,906 yards and completed 303 of 453 attempts and 47 touchdowns. Before arriving to EMCC, he played one season at Clemson University.
Kelly is the nephew of Hall of Famer Jim Kelly.
“I like it in Oxford,” Kelly said after winning his second national championship Sunday at East Mississippi. “I really, really like it.”
