Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: Seven suspicious activities, two alarms, noise violations, careless driving, two welfare concerns, 911 hang up, harassing phone calls, two civil matters, false pretense, malicious mischief, motorist assist, two credit card frauds, petit larceny, burglary – Bramlett Blvd.
Oxford police investigated Five wrecks, issued 23 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Speeding & Possession of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Alarm, three animal complaints, disturbance, petit larceny, juvenile complaint, two service calls, two suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, two transports, three civil matters, two follow ups, unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Oxford Fire Department: 
Water flow issue activated the sprinkler system alarm at Faser Hall.
Lawn mower caught some grass and leaves on fire at Park Drive.
Someone passing by the house saw a fire in a outdoor fire pit at 304 South 19th Street.
Resident left the room leaving the stove eye on smoking up the room and hallway at the Townhouse Suites by Marriott room 316.
Someone dumped hot coal in the dumpster catching it on fire at 801 Bickerstaff.
