Volunteers from Ole Miss and Oxford loaded a truck at the Oxford-Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce Thursday headed to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Generous givers donated bottled water, bleach, non-perishable food items and various other supplies for residents stranded by historic floods in Baton Rouge.

Collin Bullard, traveling in the truck to help deliver the supplies, said he’s seen an outpouring of support from Oxonians.
