“Beale Street Blues Boy”
Working in Memphis in the late 1940s, this Mississippi musician not only played and sang in the clubs, but worked at radio station WDIA as a disc jockey. He went by the on-air-name of “Beale Street Blues Boy.” We know him as B.B. King.
