Thomas Wynn Aims to Make Believers
Orlando soulful rock outfit amps up free Monday night show at Proud Larrys’

Thomas Wynn & the Believers describe their sound as “rugged, yet uplifting spirited rock, sprinkled with Southern soul R&B. Metromix fleshes the descriptors out a piece, sizing the group up as purveying “Soulful, gritty tunes, some as sweet as honeysuckle and others ferociously jagged … reminiscent of Levon Helm, Neil Young, and the Allman Brothers, but they still boldly radiate a sound and southern charm all their own.”
Oxford will enjoy a high-voltage Monday night at Proud Larrys’ tonight, January 7, 2013, when the six-piece Orlando-bred ensemble—including Wynn and sister Olivia—gets its amplifier tubes glowing. The show is free to the public.
Wynn and company have opened shows for Gov’t Mule, Leon Russell, Drive-By Truckers, Blackberry Smoke, Leftover Salmon, JJ Grey & Mofro, and Medeski, Martin & Wood, and more.
