Oxford Daily Crime Report for Tuesday, Sept. 9

The Oxford Police Department responded to the following incidents: six alarms, three disturbances, two emergency 911 hang up calls, two open doors, a welfare concern, a lost property, a malicious mischief, a careless driver, an identity theft, a harassment, an unauthorized use of another credit card, a fire department assist, a suspicious activity, a suspicious person, a trespassing (less than larceny) and a petit larceny.
The Oxford Police Department investigated six wrecks, issued 24 tickets and made one arrest for the following charge: stalking.
The Oxford Police Department discovered no code enforcement violations.
The University Police Department responded to the following incidents: an accidental hit and run at Student Union Drive, an accidental motor vehicle damage at South Lot, a suspicious person at Guyton Lot, a service call for an ambulance at Northgate Apartments and a service call for an ambulance at the Union.
The Oxford Fire Department responded to two calls: a person pulled a fire alarm at Bramlett Elementary and a resident at Phi Kappa Psi was spray-painting his door and activated the smoke detector.
