The Oxford Daily Crime Report for Thursday, May 29
The Oxford Police Department responded to two welfare concerns, a noise complaint, two ambulance assists, a careless driver, two grand larcenies, two suspicious activities, a disturbance, two alarms, a house burglary in Clearbrook and a petit larceny.
OPD also investigated two wrecks, wrote 16 traffic citations, and made one arrest on the following charges: speeding, no proof of insurance, expired tag, and DUI 1st.
The Oxford Fire Department did not receive any calls on May 28.
The University Police Department responded to the following incidents: an intoxicated person at the Campus Walk Apartments; a motor vehicle accident with property damage at the Big Valley lot; traffic detail on All American Drive; and a vehicle stop on Hathorn Road for improper equipment.
