Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M, quarterback. is being looked at closely by a number of teams needing a quarterback, including the Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders and the Jacksonville Jaguars, picking fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively. Manziel electrified SEC fans with his big-play ability and uncanny talent for escaping the pass rush in his two seasons. As a redshirt-freshman, he won the Heisman trophy.
Jake Matthews, Texas A&M offensive tackle, may come off the table as high as the second pick to the St. Louis Rams.

For former Alabama gunslinger AJ McCarron, there may be a little waiting. The cerebral QB looks to be a late first-round or second-round pick by a team looking for value at the quarterback position. His career in college speaks for its self with two national titles.
In this year’s draft, the SEC could account for six of the top ten players taken.
Ole Miss hopefuls waiting to receive a phone call from an organization this weekend include Donte Moncrief, Jeff Scott and offensive tackle Pierce Burton.

Moncrief, due to his outstanding NFL combine workout, could get the call as early as the mid-second round — possibly by the Minnesota Vikings or Philadelphia Eagles.
Jeff Scott is hoping for a late-round bid or possibly a free-agent opportunity. The former Ole Miss scat back is rated 58 out of 171 of running backs by one scouting organization.
