Has Bo found that old zip? Photo by Nathan Latil / Ole Miss Communications

Coach Hugh Freeze and the Ole Miss Rebel Football team begins preparations for chapter three of their journey toward National Championship contention.
Today officially starts spring workouts and conditioning for the 2014 season. Practice starts around 6 p.m. at the Manning Center, but is not open to the public.
The Rebels come into this spring with a burst of momentum after a 25-17 victory over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the Music City bowl. With the win, Ole Miss ended the 2013 season with an 8-5 record.
This season’s squad is bringing another top-15 recruiting class into Oxford. The Rebels return 20 seniors, 22 juniors, 26 sophomores and 28 freshmen.
Some of the big questions to be answered this spring:
• How is Bo Wallace throwing the ball? Is the zip there that he appeared to lack at times last season?
• How will the Rebels bolster their offensive line with the departure of seniors Pierce Burton and Evan Swindell?
• Who take NFL-bound Donte Moncrief’s place as the go-to receiver for Wallace?
• How will the new kickers look replacing Tyler Campbell and Andrew Ritter?
• Is there a power running back in the fold to move those huge SEC lineman piles?
Spring drills will commence after Coach Freeze’s press conference this evening, which you can follow on RebelVision. It all culminates with the annual Grove Bowl on April 5. Stay in touch with HottyToddy.com for in-depth coverage of spring practice and Coach Freeze’s press conference this evening.
