Coach Freeze Keynote Speaker at Boy Scouts Breakfast
University of Mississippi football coach Hugh Freeze, FNC President Glen Evans and university Director of Athletics Ross Bjork at the annual Friends of Scouting breakfast, in support of the Yocona Area Council Boy Scouts of America.
Freeze was the keynote speaker at the fundraising breakfast, hosted by FNC at the Oxford Conference Center from 7-8 a.m. today.
“Sports and athletics and scouting have common principles of leadership and service,” Freeze said, during his speech to the meeting.
The Yocona Area Council serves 12 counties in Northeast Mississippi and more than 4,000 youth each year in five programs: Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Venturing, Learning for Life, and Exploring.
