Break like the wind to the Blind Pig tonight for a true treat—two treats, really.
Tim Lee came to prominence and credibility in the 1980s and is still going strong. The former member of the Windbreakers is now with the Tim Lee 3. He’s collaborated with R.E.M. and during the golden age of “college rock” (not my term, and perhaps ill-conceived, but a great era for music) could not be beat.
They are joined in the showcase by another pedigreed ensemble, the Cowboy Killers, featuring local heroes Tyler Keith, George Sheldon, Wallace Lester, and Jake Fussell.
