OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss may have never lost a party, but will be in for a tough fight in two weeks when the Rebels head to Baton Rouge, La.

And it’s going to be a night game.

The SEC announced the game time for the Tigers trip to Oxford on October 12. No. 12 Ole Miss will take on No. 13 LSU at 6:30 p.m. on ABC.

Night games down in the bayou have made for an exciting backdrop to an even more exciting game. But it’ll be a tough environment for the Rebels, who will be playing in their second-straight road game.

More importantly, it’ll be the first ranked opponent Ole Miss faces this season and a win in Baton Rouge will go a long way in making up for last week’s loss to Kentucky in the eyes of the College Football Playoff committee.
