OXFORD, Miss. — For a school with a pretty basic red, white and blue set of colors, Ole Miss continues to come up with some interesting combinations, Fans seem to be interested.

The players are. They have picked the combinations for the last few seasons and it’s hard to come up with a bad combination.

Thursday, the athletics department released the photos for Saturday’s game at 6:45 against Georgia Southern. Not surprisingly, it was red jerseys since fans had already been asked to wear red that day.

It’s Military Appreciation Day and the helmets are sporting a patriotic Ole Miss script logo. With the plain white pants, it’s not a bad look at all.

The Rebels have the No. 1-rated offense in the SEC in total yardage and second in scoring behind Tennessee, averaging 56 points in a 3-0 start to the season. After losing to Boise State to open the season, they have rebounded with wins over Nevada and South Carolina State. They do have the No. 1 offense in total offense.

On defense, they are also at the top in scoring defense, giving up just 3 points per game and not allowing a touchdown.

The game will be televised on the SEC Network. Fans can also listen on the Ole Miss Radio network statewide.
