The Ole Miss Rebels climbed four spots in the latest AP Top 25 Poll on Sunday after a 55-49 victory over then-No. 12 LSU Tigers.
Ole Miss (4-1, 1-1 SEC) came into the LSU game as No. 20 in the AP poll after failing to defeat Alabama the week before.
The Rebels had to come back from a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Tigers behind the play of quarterback Jaxson Dart. Against LSU, Dart passed for 389 yards and four touchdowns, with a touchdown on the ground. He didn’t throw an interception or get sacked during the game.
Ole Miss joins six other teams from the SEC in this week’s top 25 poll with Georgia (1), Alabama (11), Ole Miss (16), Kentucky (20), Missouri (21), Tennessee (22) and LSU (23).
