Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi was named “Top Performer on Key Quality Measures®” by The Joint Commission.
The Joint Commission is the leading accreditor of health care organizations in America.
The hospital was cited for exemplary performance in using evidence-based clinical processes that are shown to improve care for heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, and surgical care.

Baptist North Mississippi is one of 1,099 hospitals in the U.S. earning the distinction of Top Performer on Key Quality Measures. The list of Top Performer organizations represents 33 percent of all Joint Commission-accredited hospitals reporting accountability measure performance data for 2012.

Baptist North Mississippi in Oxford is a 217-bed hospital that offers a variety of services, including cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, the Baptist Cancer Center and a 24-hour emergency room. Since the hospital became affiliated with Baptist Memorial Health Care in 1989, Baptist has invested more than $140 million into the facility.
