The Ole Miss Rebel football team steps out of conference this weekend to play host to the Troy Trojans on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Ole Miss (6-3, 3-3 SEC) comes into the game after defeating the Arkansas Razorbacks 34-24 last week to become bowl eligible. This marks the first time since the 2008 and 2009 seasons that Ole Miss will be bowl bound in back-to-back years.

In the game against Arkansas, quarterback Bo Wallace threw for a career high of 416 yards, including three touchdowns. On Saturday, Wallace passed both Archie Manning and Jevan Sneed in the record books for total offensive yards at Ole Miss.

Troy (5-5, 3-3 Sunbelt) dropped a close conference game last Saturday at Louisiana-Lafayette by a score of 41-36. The Trojans’ offense is lead by senior quarterback Corey Robinson, who has passed for 2,828 yards with 19 touchdowns on eight interceptions. One of Robinson’s favorite targets is senior wide-out Eric Thomas, who has 53 catches for 853 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season.

This will be the first time that the Rebels and the Trojans have ever met on the gridiron. Troy has faced another SEC opponent earlier this season. Played in Starkville, Miss., the Mississippi State Bulldogs dominated the entire game against Troy and, when the final horn sounded, the score was 62-7.

For fans that will not be able to attend the game can watch every minute of the game on ESPNU or listen on the Ole Miss Radio Network.
